Boxed Souls

©️ 2019 — I have never in my life felt like I fit in, for my being is like water, finding the shape of conformity only to quickly wash it off. See, once there is a label placed above my head, I quickly find a way to rise above it and destroy it because it jails me. I was born to rebel against the mold that we so cleverly attempt to carve into our being by means of a role, ideology, belief system or a set way to behave that someone else has decided is the right way to be. .

However, a label will never get to the bottom of who I am, or who you are, and it is incapable of defining a human soul. We are complicated breathing bodies, FREE breathing bodies, that are always in a state of change and growth, evolving until the day we draw our last breath. We are not a constant. The only constant is that we are always changing. How can you define something like that? In fact, placing any kind of definition on something so pure and free is placing it inside a prison.
